Have you ever had to give up love because of Islam?

I understand your problems. Life here in America has so much tempation even some of us good Muslim's break and snap like a twig. The thing is I have never been through it, I've only been a Muslim for exactly a year. But the best thing to do if you are confused is talk to an Imam or a Sheikh or even a good trusted knowledged Muslim friend maybe you can figure what to do :)
