More dangerous afghanistan or iraq?

joining the u.s marines and swearing into DEP this friday. i want to be a combat engineer. im just curious which did you think would've been more dangerous to be deployed in, being in afghanistan right now or being in iraq back when most our troops were over there 4+ years ago..
