Why do Mexicans come to the USA ILLEGALY instead of trying to fix their own government?

Americans don't run to mexico when we have a problem. Why dont they try to fix the problems in their gov? They stood up for themselves in Egypt and Tunisia. I asked a mexican this and he said "Your stupid!" what an intelligent response.
