Is The Air Force the best branch?

Is joining the air force really a good choice? It seem that every other branch is doing some type of "BIG" mission. For Example the Marines and Army is apart of Operation "Freedom" in Iraq. Why is the Air Force considered the best branch... Do they have better bases, more education opportunities, what exactly???
